Use an anchor text ratio calculator to find keyword-heavy patterns

Enter the anchor counts from an existing backlink export. The tool shows the percentage in each category and flags concentration worth reviewing.

This is a triage tool, not a penalty predictor. It helps you identify which links to inspect next; it cannot judge relevance, indexation or link quality on its own.

How to use the result

Find the part of the backlink profile that deserves a manual review

Start with repeated keywords

If partial and exact-match anchors dominate, filter those links in your backlink platform and inspect the referring pages first.

Check the page around the link

A relevant, indexed article with real readership is a different signal from an unrelated page created only to place links.

Do not chase a universal percentage

There is no published safe ratio that applies to every site. Brand maturity, sector, page type and natural citation patterns all change the mix.

Use an export, not a guess

Export anchors from Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz or another link index, then group them using the examples shown in the calculator.
